Duties Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change Manage food service customer orders with precision, ensuring timely fulfillment and order accuracy Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic food handling and safety procedures Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety standards throughout shifts Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing friendly customer service Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food prep or service periods Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong cashiering skills Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume customer flow seamlessly Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing Familiarity with food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience or food industry background preferred to support food prep and kitchen operations
