In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, efficiently processing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Whether assisting with product demos or upselling items, your proactive approach will contribute to the store's success and customer satisfaction. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their checkout needs using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and process returns accurately and efficiently. Provide product demos and suggest additional items through upselling techniques to enhance sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies as needed. Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and ensuring products are well-presented. Answer customer questions politely via phone etiquette or in person, offering helpful solutions. Assist with inventory management by participating in stocking and merchandising activities to keep the store inviting. TIPS are associated with this position. Ability to serve patrons when they decide to dine-in. Requirements Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette are essential. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks. Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous. A positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are key to success in this role.

Pay:

$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
