In this energetic role, you will handle transactions efficiently, provide exceptional customer service, and support the store's merchandising and sales initiatives. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and eager to return. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring smooth cashier operations Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including cash, credit, and digital payments Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and addressing inquiries professionally Uphold phone etiquette standards when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication channels Requirements Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both bilingual settings (if applicable) Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Ability to perform stocking, merchandising, and product demos as needed Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise.
