Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions swiftly and efficiently Handle cash drawer management with precision, including cash handling and balancing at shift end Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising standards to assist customers effectively Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting Demonstrate professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Requirements Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales preferred. Strong communication skills. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately.
