Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, product inquiries, and store navigation Operate the cash register (POS system) efficiently during retail transactions, including scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts Handle cash drawer management accurately, including cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling daily sales Upsell products and promote store specials or new items to maximize sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement and product understanding Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or assisting via phone Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for smooth transaction processing Previous retail sales experience, especially in grocery or general merchandise stores Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous for supporting store operations Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction balancing Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately during busy periods Familiarity with merchandising techniques and stock replenishment procedures Excellent communication skills to explain product features or assist customers with questions Embrace this opportunity to grow your retail career in a lively environment where your energy makes a difference!
