Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Food Packer, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation, packaging, and sales transactions. This energetic position combines food industry expertise with retail skills to ensure our customers receive prompt, friendly service and high-quality food products. You will be responsible for managing cash register operations, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting food safety standards to create a positive and safe environment for both customers and team members. Duties Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change Prepare and pack food items swiftly while maintaining quality standards and food safety protocols Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including food handling areas and kitchen equipment Assist in food preparation tasks, including basic cooking, assembling orders, and operating kitchen equipment safely Ensure compliance with sanitation, health regulations, and food safety management practices at all times Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards within the food industry Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly during busy periods Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean work environment Food service experience or restaurant background is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Join us if you're passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment!
