Job Description
Sea Ranch Sushi in Evanston provides our customers with fantastic sushi and a selection of Japanese groceries. Our cashier team processes payments while also helping our guests place orders, pick up orders and also choose delicious items from our grocery section. New Hire Bonuses for Part and Full Time Positions! Up to $1000 for Full Time Up to $500 for Part Time Responsibilities Manage transactions with customers using cash registers Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate Collect payments whether in cash or credit Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information Greet customers when entering or leaving the store Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas Bag take out orders and in store purchases Handle merchandise returns and exchanges Skills Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales Basic PC knowledge Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS Good math skills Strong communication and time management skills Customer satisfaction-oriented
