Duties Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are neatly displayed and accurately labeled to enhance the shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process transactions quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit, and mobile payments with professionalism Provide friendly customer service by answering questions, assisting with product locations, and offering product demos when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and sales floor to promote a safe shopping environment Upsell relevant products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Manage inventory levels through stocking, merchandising, and reporting low stock items to management Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Skills Previous experience with POS systems and cashiering is highly desirable Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members or training new staff Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills to engage customers confidently and clearly Ability to perform basic math quickly for cash handling and retail math calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales enhances your ability to succeed in this role Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos helps create an engaging shopping environment Excellent customer service skills combined with phone etiquette ensure positive interactions at all touchpoints This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills in a fast-paced environment while making meaningful connections with customers.
