Job Summary The Cashier is responsible for providing efficient and friendly customer service at the checkout counter. This role involves handling transactions, assisting customers with purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. 2. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area. 3. Follow store policies and procedures for handling returns, exchanges, and discounts. 4. Provide friendly and helpful customer service. 5. May be requested to work in other locations from time to time 6. Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures up to 30 lbs. as needed Qualifications 1. Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required. 2. Strong customer service and communication skills. 3. Basic math skills and attention to detail. 4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 5. Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts. 6..
