Job Description

We are hiring admission cashiers for Sports Park! There are perks for joining the SPD Team! Our seasonal staff are eligible for a complimentary membership to our health club, Fitness First, free golf and a free pool pass during their employment!
Duties:
Responsible for welcoming patrons and collecting daily fees. Processes registrations and rental equipment fees. Duties include monitoring the park, answering the phone and assisting patrons with questions about Sports Park or any other Skokie Park District facility or program. Keeps cashier station neat and organized during shift. Communicates tee line errors, mechanical problems and issues to supervisor. Occasionally assists with party room rental duties. Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of Skokie Sports Park; enforces the rules and regulations of Sports Park. May be requested to perform light office duties and to perform other duties as assigned.
Hours:
Daytime, evening and weekend shifts available 7 days per week Must be available to work weekday evenings •This job fall in paygrade PT2. The target hiring range for this position is beginning at $15.00 A link to our part-time wage scale can be found here: https://www.skokieparks.org/part-time-wage-scale/ Must be a mature, responsible individual at least 16 years of age. Prior cash handling and customer service experience required. Experience with point of sale /registration software a plus, RecTrac experience a plus. Must have the ability to provide excellent customer service to Skokie Sports Park patrons. Communicates to supervisor any Sports Park problems. Must possess excellent communication skills.
