Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring correct change is given at all times Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase new or featured items to customers Promote additional products through upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Follow phone etiquette protocols when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Assist in inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves and participating in regular stock checks Support team members with supervising experience by helping train new staff on cashier procedures and customer service standards Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
