Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit, and digital payments with precision. Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented to attract customers. Conduct product demos when applicable to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales. Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising activities to keep the sales floor fresh and inviting. Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, ensuring clear communication at all times. Support store safety protocols by monitoring the environment during your shift and reporting any concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering roles preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities or team coordination. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base effectively. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and customer interaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial for understanding stock management and merchandising standards.
