Shift Manager

Overview Seeking energetic applicants to assist in the daily operations of Retail Grocery stores. Multiple locations in Northwest Indiana (Hammond, Valparaiso, Michigan City, Kouts) Experience in Retail and/or Grocery is preferred. Full and Part time positions available. Starting pay is based on experience with opportunity to move into higher positions with additional pay and bonus eligibility. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies. Lead staff training and development to maintain high standards of store conditions, customer service, and safety protocols. Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Assist with budgeting, labor scheduling, and managing operational costs. Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Skills Pallet Jack experience is preferred, but not required Basic Computer Skills required (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to multitask and prioritize decisions in real time Friendliness is a must!
