Job DescriptionThe cage cashier executes all monetary transactions for guests and is assigned to a window bank. The cage cashier must provide excellent guest service at all times. Greet customers and give friendly, accurate and efficient service.
Exchange coin and gaming chips for currency, cash, checks, issue window markers, redeem slot tickets and safe deposit boxes, enter marker, fill and credit slips.
Communicate by telephone for customer service and pit information.
Stand for eight hours with stooping and bending.
Operate a computer, knowledge of software programs utilized by department, to input, update, and access customer credit and other information.
Complete transactions and documentation in accordance with gaming regulation requirements and company policies and procedures.
Must be thoroughly trained in Title 31.Operate ten-key adding machine, to balance window and sell checks, etc.
Operate a jet sort (a coin counter for cashing out coin) and currency counter.
Maintain bank balance. Keep work area clean and supplies stocked.
QualificationsPrevious cash handling or banking experience preferred but not required. Must be able to operate a 10 key calculator. Must be able to lift up to 20lbs and stand for long periods of time.
