Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency using our POS system. Operate cash registers, process retail sales transactions, and handle cash, credit card, or digital payments with precision. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining quality and presentation. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, including food handling, bussing tables, and cleaning equipment. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish while ensuring timely delivery and excellent service. Support kitchen operations by operating kitchen equipment safely and assisting with basic food preparation when needed. Skills Proven experience in quick service or market/retail environments with strong food service skills. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cashier responsibilities.
