Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking supplies and merchandising products effectively Upsell products and promote store promotions or product demos to enhance sales opportunities Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and maintaining phone etiquette Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and inventory management to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met Qualifications Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our success!
