In this vital role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, processes transactions efficiently, and ensures a positive shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help drive sales, maintain store organization, and foster customer loyalty. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments Handle cash register operations with precision, managing cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities and meet sales goals Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure proper merchandising displays to maximize product visibility Assist in inventory management through stocking, product demos, and participating in periodic stock counts Qualifications Previous experience in liquor store sales or cashiering is preferred. Strong POS knowledge and proficiency with cash register operations are essential Excellent communication skills Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Knowledge of liquor store products is desirable but not required.
