The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. This role requires proficiency in cash handling and basic math, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. and helping in the kitchen Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing their inquiries. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and balancing the register at the end of shifts. Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products to enhance store presentation. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products during checkout. Conduct product demonstrations as needed to inform customers about new or featured items. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and surrounding areas. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Help in the Kitchen Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base. Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Experience in stocking and merchandising products is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to sales and customer service.
