Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a lively, engaging manner Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing Support food service operations by preparing simple food items, assisting with food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards Upsell menu items or products to increase sales and enhance customer experience through friendly suggestions Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and food preparation zones in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with bussing tables, organizing supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Qualifications Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred; restaurant or quick service experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong math skills including basic grocery store math and retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in a café or food industry environment is advantageous; culinary experience is a bonus Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and serving protocols Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
