Responsibilities Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and friendly interaction. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision. Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, upselling items, and merchandising efforts to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station's retail area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper handling of fuel pumps and adherence to phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone. Support inventory management by stocking supplies, conducting stock checks, and managing product displays in grocery or convenience store sections. Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions confidently. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
