Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles for customer deliveries Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Follow established routes to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Verify delivery orders against manifests, process payments at the point of sale as a cashier, and handle customer transactions efficiently Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and delivery documentation using mobile devices or handheld scanners Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes, delays, or delivery issues Practice safe lifting techniques during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route planning and driving safety protocols Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation, and heavy lifting practices Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks and commercial trucks confidently Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients at delivery points Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices Experience with mobile devices for route navigation, delivery tracking, and transaction processing Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards This role offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our logistics team—delivering smiles along with products!
