Closing Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a Closing Supervisor to lead our deli team during the critical closing hours. In this role you would maintain customer service and ensure a smooth closing. Duties Supervise and coordinate all closing activities, including cleaning, closing and ensuring the store isready for the following day Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service during the closing shift Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to ensure team members are well-prepared for their roles Control deli inventory levels through effective stock management Ensure compliance with safety protocols, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and cash handling procedures Skills Proven experience in supervising staff or store management roles preferred Strong people skills and ability to manage and delegate Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing processes, merchandising, stocking, and marketing practices Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience in cashiering, cash handling accuracy, and phone etiquette for professional customer interactions Ability to multi-task and move with a sense of urgency required Sam's is a fast-paced business and we are looking for someone who is able to multi-task themselves while overseeing the closing management for the team which can reach up to 20 people in the busy season. Supervising or management experience is preferred. 40 hours per week. $20

• must be available holiday weekends.

Hours are 9am-5pm in spring and fall and 11am-7pm in summer.
