Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face customers rely on for a smooth and enjoyable experience. In this energetic role, you'll handle daily retail operations, assist customers with their needs, and ensure the station runs efficiently. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive experience at the station Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Assist customers with product demos, upselling items such as snacks, beverages, or convenience products to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products effectively Conduct routine inventory checks and restock merchandise to ensure availability of popular items Promote safety protocols by monitoring the premises and responding promptly to any issues or emergencies Answer customer inquiries via phone with professional etiquette and assist with product recommendations or directions Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus, demonstrating leadership qualities Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, merchandising, and standing for extended periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales practices is advantageous Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to delivering top-notch service while building your career in retail!
