Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, processing payments, and delivering food promptly. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to sanitation standards for food safety management. Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and accurately process cash handling procedures. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and other food preparation tools, following proper safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy shifts. Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing register operations. Experience working in retail or café environments is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential.
