Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and integrity Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies as necessary Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and ensuring products are properly displayed Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist in inventory management through stock checks and merchandising updates Supervise or mentor new team members in cashiering procedures and customer service standards Requirements Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Previous supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail environments is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking or merchandising Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive attitude Join our team as a Cashier and become an essential part of delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
