Cashier/Merchandiser Liquor Store

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and personable Cashier/Merchandiser to join our team. This role involves handling customer transactions efficiently, maintaining accurate cash registers, and ensuring that merchandise is well-stocked and attractively displayed. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.​

Responsibilities Cashier Duties:

Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and provide correct change. Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.​

Maintaining Inventory Merchandising Duties:

Stock shelves and coolers with products, ensuring proper rotation and facing. Set up promotional displays and signage as directed. Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to management. Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards.​ Receive Deliveries Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with liquor products is advantageous
