Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, friendly and detail-oriented Store Associate/Cashier to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with POS systems, strong communication skills, and a passion for retail sales. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus, as well as the ability to perform product demos and upsell merchandise to enhance customer experience. Responsibilities Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with proper cash handling procedures Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment Promote store promotions and assist in sales efforts through effective communication skills Support supervising staff when needed in overseeing daily store operations Qualifications Must be 21+ years old Weekend/holiday availability is required Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Positive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Ability to speak and read English proficiently

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
