Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The employee in the position of Cook/Cashier must be able to provide excellent food and beverage services to the customers of Clustered Spires Golf Course. The employee must treat all customers as though they are the owner. The employee must be able to efficiently fill food and beverage orders to include alcohol beverages and prepare orders using proper food handling procedures. Must be a team player willing to do what is necessary to provide exceptional customer service. Cleaning and cleanliness are part of the duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets customers in a professional manner and efficiently fills their food and beverage orders, to include alcohol beverages. Prepares food and beverage orders using proper food handling procedures. Operates all food preparation equipment. Runs cash register and makes change for customers. Balances cash register at end of shift. Maintains designated area on a daily basis, ensuring cleanliness and work area is stocked. Performsotherdutiesas assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED or experience in lieu of education. Strong customer service experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
(Communication/Language; Mathematical; Computer; etc.): Some knowledge of computers. Good communication skills. Ability to operate a calculator. Must be able to compute and exchange money.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to move about the concession area to fill orders and serve customers. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time. The person in this job frequently communicates with customers and staff members regarding concession orders. The employee must be able to work with money and exchange accurately with customers. The employee is frequently required to work office equipment such as a calculator, cash register and computer. The employee is occasionally required to reach items at various heights around the concession area; and constantly positions self to stock and maintain concession items from ground to ceiling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pound items from inventory to concession area. The employee must be able to recognize customers approaching the concession and detect potential hazards from various vantage points in the work area. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee in this position must be able to work long hours.
