What You Will DoAs a Cashier Intern, you will process payments and reconcile checks to match computer totals. Working under the direction of the Collections Manager, you will provide excellent customer service while exhibiting integrity and fiscal responsibility. You will represent the County and assist with bill mailings.

Essential Duties
  • Collect County taxes, such as real estate, personal property, and water/sewer.
  • Process payments made by mail and drop-off; verify numeric amounts, legal lines, and signatures of checks.
  • Reconcile checks to match computer totals.
  • Prepare tax bills for mailing.
  • Scan tax rolls and other documents.
  • Collect, sort, and open mail.
  • Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback.
  • Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment.
  • Exhibit integrity, ethics, and fiscal responsibility.
