Job Description
The Portland Food Co-op is currently hiring for a cashier who will go the extra mile in providing outstanding service every day. Previous cashiering experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidates. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. This is a fast-paced retail environment, requiring the ability to work well with a wide range of personalities that comes with working with the general public. The hours for this position are: Monday = 11:00 AM
- 7:00 PM Tuesday = 11:00 AM
- 7:00 PM Wednesday = OFF Thursday = OFF Friday = 1:30 PM
- 9:30 PM Saturday = 11:00 AM
- 7:00 PM Sunday = 1:30 PM
- 9:30 PM We offer three weeks of accrued Paid Time Off the first year with increases in following years, along with employer subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance.
