What they do
A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.

Pay Range:
$22- $25 per hour Hours
- 9 am
- 6 pm Monday
- Friday with occasional Saturday hours

High School Diploma or GED required Associate's degree preferredExperience:
1-3 years of previous experience; preferably in an institution of higher education or in the customer service industry Some accounting and/or general ledger experience preferredCommunicate Effectively:
Skilled in clear and effective oral and written communication with a diverse customer base, always maintaining a welcoming and friendly demeanor.Interpersonal skills:
