Upsell products and promote store promotions or special offers to enhance sales opportunities. Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about features and benefits. Maintain knowledge of store merchandise, stock levels, and merchandising standards to support sales efforts. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is tidy and inviting. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or customer calls. Support supervising staff during busy periods or when needed to ensure smooth store operations. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations. Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to deliver outstanding customer service. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Experience in supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and inventory management is beneficial.
