Duties Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure products are neatly arranged and fully stocked Maintain store cleanliness and organization to promote a safe shopping environment Use merchandising techniques to highlight promotional items and new arrivals effectively Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team collaboration Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally Can lift 50lbs Can stand for long periods of time.
