Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and confidence, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restocking supplies as needed and merchandising products effectively Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering assistance with store navigation Support inventory management through stocking shelves, conducting product demos, and participating in merchandising efforts Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is a plus Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude Experience supervising or leading team members is a bonus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are appreciated for growth potential Join us to become an integral part of our vibrant retail community!
