Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions with precision. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases. Operate the cash register, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to inform customers effectively. Stock shelves and ensure that the checkout area is organized and clean. Provide support in retail sales by upselling products when appropriate. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism. Assist in training new staff members on cash register operations and customer service protocols. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions and change. Experience Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an exceptional shopping experience.
