Summary As a Cashier at Newberry Hometown Pharmacy, you will be the face of our retail operations, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while efficiently handling transactions. Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with their inquiries. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and efficiently. Assist in prescription pickup Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a cashier is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
