Office Manager Position Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for receiving and processing payments for products and services provided by the dealership in an accurate and timely manner. This position provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers and assists with basic administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and courteously. Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and issue receipts accurately. Record payments received and ensure proper accounting for all funds. Reconcile cash drawer daily and prepare bank deposits. Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual. Maintain customer waiting area and cashier station in a neat and orderly manner. Process refunds and handle any payment discrepancies following dealership policy. Assist with filing, copying, and other general office duties as assigned. Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous cashiering or cash handling experience preferred. Prior experience in an automotive dealership environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office equipment. Professional appearance and demeanor.
Working Conditions:
Primarily indoors in a climate-controlled office environment. Occasional standing for extended periods. Will involve some evening hours.
