Job Description

Position Description:
Job Summary:
The Cashier at DWC is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling cash and card transactions. They play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by being friendly, accurate, and attentive. Our Cashiers are also cross-trained in various front-of-house tasks, offering variety and opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a positive experience.
Transaction Handling:
Accurately process cash, card, and other forms of payment, following proper cash handling procedures.
Order Management:
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, upselling additional items as appropriate.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about menu items and promotions to answer customer questions and make recommendations. Will also earn basic cook functions and assist where needed.
Workstation Maintenance:
Keep the cashier area clean and organized, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
Problem Solving:
Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and courteously.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service during busy periods.
Qualifications:
Customer-Oriented:
Enjoys being the best part of someone's day and delivering excellent customer service.
Experience:
Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Multitasking Ability:
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to
Detail:
Meticulous with transaction accuracy and product knowledge.

Fast-paced restaurant setting with frequent customer interaction.
Physical Requirements:
