In this energetic role, you will handle daily retail operations, assist customers with their needs, and ensure the station runs efficiently. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment while maintaining safety and accuracy in all transactions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail and customer service skills in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the pump and cashier station Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing new merchandise or promotional items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, including stocking shelves and merchandising displays Handle cash handling duties with precision, including balancing registers at shift end Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and participating in regular stock replenishment Requirements Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Customer service-oriented attitude with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience working in retail sales or grocery stores is beneficial Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as stocking shelves Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellent service while building your career in retail!
