Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pro Shop Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face and expert resource for our golf shop. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain a strong guest-focused approach to hospitality and service while performing all assigned duties Promptly and professionally manage inbound tee times both on the phone and in-person using exceptional communication skills and the POS system Assists golfers with start times and helps maintain established pace-of-play standards Processes sales of golf fees, merchandise, and related items using the POS system Responsibly serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to golf course guests Accurately record all drink orders in the POS system immediately upon receipt Processes guest payments, including credit card transactions and making change when applicable Clearly and enthusiastically communicates daily specials, promotions, and upcoming events to guests Assists outside services and beverage cart staff with operational duties as needed (e.g., driving range support, cart staging and maintenance) Supports the Golf Professional with league play, outings, and tournament operations Maintains accurate and organized transaction records using the POS system and established management procedures Perform daily cleaning and restocking throughout the clubhouse, including upstairs areas and restrooms Cleaning glass surfaces (door, windows, display cases), vacuuming, emptying interior and exterior trash receptacles, sanitizing kitchen equipment to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Replenishes snacks and beverages for golf course patrons as needed Attends all scheduled employee meetings and actively shares ideas and suggestions for improvement Upholds proper attire and a professional appearance at all times Maintains a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude at all times Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and a positive attitude toward teamwork Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and managing inventory efficiently Knowledge of golf products or willingness to learn about merchandise and product features Join us in delivering outstanding service while sharing your passion for golf!
