Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and benefits of store merchandise. Upsell complementary products to increase sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage cash drawer handling with integrity, balancing registers at shift end and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure products are well-organized, accessible, and visually appealing. Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels. Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to store standards and assisting with inventory management. Assist in stocking and replenishing store supplies, ensuring the sales floor remains inviting and well-maintained. Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred; familiarity with retail math and cashiering is a plus. Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations, with strong basic math skills for accurate transactions. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to deliver top-notch customer service. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Supervising experience or prior leadership roles in retail are advantageous for growth opportunities. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and upselling techniques to maximize sales potential. Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly, including managing cash drawers with integrity. Strong phone etiquette skills for professional communication over calls or inquiries.
