Job Title:
Retail Cashier Your Responsibilities Include:
Greeting and assisting all guests and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner Collecting customer information and checking out customers merchandise using a point-of-sale system Handling and bagging customers merchandise and coordinating assistance for loading customers products Staying informed on sales, rebates, and promotions of products Directing customers to Inside Sales Associates if they have questions or need help selecting products Answering customers questions over the phone, providing sales quotes for future purchases, and researching product and inventory Keeping a clean and organized sales floor, including product displays and work areas (fronting, pricing, and stocking sales shelves when not assisting customers) Participating in store events (physical inventories, sales meetings, trade shows, special sales, etc.) Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting suspicious activity Completing related tasks as assigned You ll
Need:
Previous retail or customer service experience Basic computer skills and to be able to learn new software Good communication skills (in-person, over the phone, and through email) To be able to work a rotating Saturday shift
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Stand on a hard surface for the majority of your shift Bend, sit, squat, lift overhead, push, pull, kneel, and reach •Employment offers are contingent on a drug screen and background check. Acme Tools is an equal opportunity employer.
