Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards and safety protocols. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Assist with food service tasks including bussing, food prep, and food handling to keep the restaurant clean and organized. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, upselling menu items, and providing top-notch customer service. Support sanitation efforts by cleaning workstations, dining areas, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages promptly. Experience Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math are important. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices. Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting will be beneficial. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for delivering excellent customer experiences.
