Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience Manage cash handling with precision, including cash, credit/debit card transactions, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Conduct product demos when applicable to engage customers and promote sales opportunities Upsell relevant products or services to maximize sales potential while maintaining a customer-first approach Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
