Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems for quick and accurate transactions Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cash register operations and balancing drawers at shift end Provide product demos when applicable, highlighting features to enhance customer understanding and encourage sales Upsell related products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to maximize sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-presented Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts to support store operations Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Prior experience in cashiering or retail sales preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to effectively serve diverse customers Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure secure and efficient checkout processes Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly and resolve issues professionally Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or training new staff Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed Join us in delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
