Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions quickly and efficiently Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos when needed Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restock merchandise displays, and assist with merchandising efforts Support stock stocking activities to ensure shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling Previous supervising or leadership experience is a plus for mentoring new team members Ability to demonstrate products confidently through product demos and upselling techniques Bilingual communication skills to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations is highly desirable Excellent communication skills combined with friendly, approachable demeanor for delivering outstanding customer service Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
