Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in food preparation and service Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions, cash handling, and food service orders Upsell menu items and suggestive selling to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, cashier stations, and dining spaces, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards Manage cash register operations by processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Assist with food handling duties such as preparing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment safely, and ensuring proper food safety management practices are followed Support bussing and sanitation efforts to keep the restaurant environment clean, safe, and welcoming for all guests Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Food preparation or culinary experience helps in understanding food safety standards and efficient kitchen operations Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to grow their skills in the food industry Join us today to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering excellent service while developing your career in the vibrant world of food service!
