Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using the POS (Point of Sale) system Accurately process cash, credit/debit card transactions, and handle cash handling duties with integrity Provide product demos and suggest additional items through effective upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking supplies, merchandising products, and ensuring cleanliness Answer customer inquiries via phone etiquette with professionalism and clear communication skills Support inventory management by assisting with stocking shelves and merchandising displays Ensure compliance with store policies on cash handling, security procedures, and customer service standards Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
