—F&B CASHIER:
Ø Greet guests; seat them in the restaurant according to the rotation schedule Ø Operate a cash register and properly settle checks Ø Tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners Ø Responsible for the proper settlement of all guest checks Ø Receive payment by cash, credit cards, comps, or automatic debits Ø Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests Ø Record tips from credit cards, automatic debits, and comp guests Ø Keep the work area neat and clean Ø Assist guests by providing information and resolving their complaints Ø Balance the register at the end of the shift Ø Build relationships with guests Ø Demonstrate superior guest service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors Ø Ensure service recovery activities Ø Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, create an atmosphere of luck and positive energy with gestures, and sustain enthusiasm from one interaction to the next Ø Build relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting Ø Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties Ø Assist in clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables Ø Provide a warm farewell and thank the guest for visiting Ø Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved with projects, committees, and task forces, by providing input and suggestions Ø Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner Ø Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values ØEDR Cashier:
Ø Able to work behind the serving line as a cook, as needed Ø Control food production to include: proper cooking methods, cooking time, and temperature, ensuring sanitation, handling, and storage of prepared food and leftovers as needed ØRoom Service Cashier:
Ø Accept responsibility for cash register bankroll, all cash received, credit card charges, complimentary receipts, and charges to rooms Ø Maintain knowledge of current menu items and pricing, how the items are prepared, and what accompanies each meal Ø Responsible for taking guests' food and beverage orders in a timely, cordial, and professional manner, noting any special requests, obtaining needed approvals/verifications as necessary, and processing all orders using the computer system Ø Assure timely delivery of comp requests from VIP Services and other casino departments Ø Responsible for keeping accurate log entries for all call-down orders, special requests, and hotel guest charge records Ø Verify guest room numbers and estimated time of arrival for delivery of amenities Dispatch and track service person availability for orders and assign deliveries, as well as tray pick Ø Notify management of any guest complaints, alleged discrepancies, and/or problems involving Room Service Ø Assist in the routine inspections and monthly inventories of room service equipment, china, flatware, linen, etc., to ensure proper storage and maintenanceJOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES--SUPERVISOR
Ø Ensure that all food and beverage products served meet the established specifications and standards Ø Continuously improve service by evaluating service breakdowns using guest feedback, data, and behavior Ø Communicate service breakdowns and facilitate opportunity-seeking meetings to consistently involve all team members in service improvements Ø Address service breakdowns and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction Ø Resolve all guest complaints and relay to the manager Ø Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained Ø Assist with department reporting and data analysis as required Ø Responsible for the development and maintenance of department procedures and guidelines Ø Assist in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and menu items for maximum guest satisfaction Ø Prepare schedules and station breakdowns Ø Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate important information Ø Conduct end-of-shift banking functions Ø Assist the cashier with voids and overrides Ø Work with Finance and IT teams to ensure that all revenue is captured and reported in an accurate and relevant manner Ø Build relationships by greeting guests and staff with a warm, friendly verbal greeting and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude Ø Take personal responsibility for creating an atmosphere of luck and positive energy with gestures and sustain enthusiasm from one interaction to the next Ø Prepare prep lists Ø Serve as a communication liaison to subordinates and the Restaurant Manager Ø Responsible for the timely delivery of comp requests from VIP services and other casino departments Ø Responsible for the complete set-up and operation of each scheduled shift Ø Complete the shift logs in a timely and accurate manner Ø Develop highly skilled, successful Team Members, set realistic and measurable service standards, and hold Team Members accountable for meeting standards Ø Communicate and enforce company expectations, including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, department goals, and business strategy Ø Ensure service recovery activities Ø Exhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating the team and maintaining high morale Ø Enforce all appearance and uniform guidelines Ø Monitor bartenders and other Team Members with cash to ensure proper cash handling procedures Ø Conduct a physical inventory of barware and requisition replacement items as needed Ø Ensure all Team Members are following the guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Board Ø Monitor asset control of liquor bottles, draft, and bottled beer and wine Ø Other duties as assigned Ø Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner ØSelu Restaurant/The Pools:
Ø Supervision of all pool activities to include staffing, scheduling, ordering, & events Ø Meet & greet pool guests to offer a high level of professional service Ø Plan and execute pool & beverage events Ø Greet, interact, and assist resort staff in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment Ø Respond to and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficultiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ø A high school diploma or GED is required Ø Six months of food service experience is preferred Ø RASP certification is required•Can be completed within 30 days of the hire date Ø Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills: Ø Able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously Ø Legible handwriting Ø Ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly Ø Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively Ø Willing to learn and be adaptable with attention to detail/observant Ø Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes Ø Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygienePHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
