Duties Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are organized and visually appealing through effective merchandising techniques Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Maintain clean and organized checkout areas while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock replenishments, and assisting with inventory counts Provide friendly customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping environment Promote store promotions and special offers through engaging communication and suggestive selling techniques Requirements Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks associated with stocking duties A friendly attitude combined with excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming shopping experience Join us today and become part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
